Hazelnut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

A truly nutty cookie, featuring hazelnut butter. Soft bake them for a short time or for a crack, a little longer.

Hazelnut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 85g caster sugar
  • 70g muscovado sugar
  • 230g plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 100g hazelnut butter
  • 100g chocolate chips
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  1. Mix together both sugars, vanilla, hazelnut butter, egg and melted butter and mix till completely combined.
  2. Add in the flour, baking powder and chocolate chips, reserving a few for later. Stir till completely combined.
  3. Scoop out and evenly space on a lined baking tray, sprinkle over the reserved chocolate chips and bake at 180oC for ten minutes.
  4. If you like you cookies a little more solid bake for a few minutes longer.
